At Tulane University School of Medicine, we have a dual role of education and service. Patient care is provided by our outstanding faculty and resident staff. Our faculty are experts in orthopaedic problems for patients of any age, whether it is a musculoskeletal injury or a painful condition, such as arthritis. Patients are seen at Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine, Tulane-Lakeside Hospital, Tulane Doctors Sports Medicine Plus, East Jefferson General Hospital, University Medical Center (UMC), and the V.A. clinics. Our educational mission is to teach our residents, fellows, and medical students about all aspects of the musculoskeletal system. We have a fully accredited 5-year Orthopaedic Residency. Our doctors teach Tulane University Medical Students and Sports Medicine Fellows. Through presentations at regional, national, and international orthopaedic meetings, our doctors share their knowledge with doctors all over the world.
