The Section of Baylor College of Medicine Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology is involved in basic and clinical research programs funded through the National Institutes of Health, Department of Veterans Affairs and national research organizations, industry, and endowments. In addition to research, our faculty provides patient care services and has major teaching responsibilities for medical students, graduate students, residents, and fellows. Section faculty provides core medical student lectureships in the first-year immunology module and the second-year rheumatology module, as well as graduate school immunology courses.
